I joined the Second Language Studies program at Michigan State University in Fall 2019. I’m an educational linguist interested in the language learning experiences of neurodivergent individuals. I received my BA and MA from the University of Texas at San Antonio, and have taught young learners in both ESL and EFL settings. Also, I’ve been involved in English language education for adult refugees and international students. Currently, I’m a member of the Michigan Seal of Biliteracy Committee and teach an undergraduate course on second and foreign language teaching methods.
